Doing what fires you up and gets you excited isn’t always easy, sometimes sitting around just seems so much more enjoyable.
We all have those days, whether someone always works hard or sits around all the time, we all suffer from wanting to take it easy. It’s human nature.
There is no way to get around this feeling, there is no such thing as someone who has never felt it. Talk to any successful person and they’ll tell you it’s an inevitable feeling no matter how far you get in life.
With no way to avoid the feeling, all we can do it accept the fact that we are only human, we are all the same, we all go through hard times. Yes, some have it worse than others, but we all have our demons and there is no way around that.
Although this is all true, there is always a way out. By taking action and pushing through the hard times you can at least get through the hard times and break through to the fun times.
You need to realize that if you do sit around and take it easy you won’t feel any different in 5 minutes, an hour, a day or in any amount of time. The only way to get out of the lazy rut is to realize and acknowledge that you are there and take deliberate actions to get out.
Whether it be something small like changing out a few lightbulbs or something bigger like calling up 10 clients to at least get one productive thing done, you’ll realize that after that one thing you won’t mind doing one more thing, maybe something that’s a little more productive.
Once the ball starts rolling the snowball affect incurs and having a successful fulfilled day is much easier.
I’m not saying there is anything wrong with taking time off and taking break, everyone needs a break, what I’m saying is that there is something wrong with being unmotivated and that there’s a way to at least feel good about an unmotivated day even if not much gets done.
There’s a reason why it’s called the grind and the hustle, it’s not meant to be easy.
