Push And Be Pushed

How are the people around you affected by you?

In every situation in every day you are influencing the people around you, you are teaching them and you are being taught by them.

It is common for people to say your five closest friends around you are what you become, but little do people often think beyond that to realize that they themselves are changing the lives of the people around them.

You can make the choice to influence their lives to be better, you can teach them to be great, help them learn and help them become the best that they can be and in return you will be given praise, you will see more success than you can imagine and you will learn more than any one person in your circle of friends.

You also have the choice to put them down, to let them learn on their own and leave them to their own devices. If you decide to not help your friends and family grow you may not lose them but you will be the reason that you and the people around you aren’t moving forward.

At the end of the day, you need to take responsibility for as much as possible, even when it seems like you have nothing to do with it. The more you do for others and the more you willingly try and make people more than they already are, the more you will grow yourself and become your best self.

The success of the people around you is truly a testament to your own success. Your friends may accomplish more, they may do more, see more, be more, but if you’re the one that is always helping them, if you focus on pushing them up higher even when they’re already higher than you, in the end you will be the one who wins.

Don’t fear making people better than you, don’t hide from helping people rise.

The people you help to become great will always come back to help you grow higher and further than you thought possible. Don’t fear the unknown, welcome it.

The biggest contributor to you failing is your inability to help others grow. An example of this is the common practice for managers to hire weak players, to train them enough to do their jobs but to never succeed and reach their potential.

The more you hold people back, the more you hold yourself back.

On the other hand, the manager that can hire strong, fierce players and train them to be better than them self can grow a team that outperforms in work and relationship, they will be unstoppable.

The same goes for friends and family, the ones that grow together and push each other are unbreakable and unstoppable.

Push and be pushed, decide if you’re going to push up or push down.
